Information and Application

Welcome to Alberta Street Gallery, a cooperative of 30 local artists!

We are open daily from 11am to 7pm.

To create a safe atmosphere in the gallery, customers and artists are required to wear masks.  We have hand sanitizer and spare masks at the door.  We clean often and keep the doors open as much as possible to promote airflow.  We accept card and contactless payment only .

Our gallery layout is open and airy, so social distancing is a breeze, and we've been creating a lot of art these last few months. So come and enjoy some time to yourself, discovering your new favorites!

We have just opened an art plaza outside for periodic open-air displays through October.

We have have an online store, with work from 15 artists available each month for purchase, with free local delivery or curbside pickup.

The Gallery Reopened on June 1st

We have implemented a full range of precautions to ensure the safety of our customers.  We will have signs at the front door explaining details about maximum occupancy, one-way circulation, contactless checkout, and more. Credit cards only, no cash.  Our artist staff will wear masks, and we encourage customers to wear one as well.

Our 30 artist members have been busy in their studios, and there are many  beautiful new items on display.

Artist Road Show

$25 Registration

In this class I will share much of what I have learned in the past 5 years doing art shows. I have traveled throughout the Western states and found there are many aspects to creating a traveling art gallery. I will go over the where, how, when and why I do art shows. I think I can help artists avoid some of the pitfalls I encountered as I learned about the artist road show life.

Artist Talk with Kim Tepe

Fiber Artist Kim Tepe shares her journey through traditional and non-traditional fiber techniques to achieve the subtle textures of the forest that is indicative of her current work featured in October at Alberta Street Gallery. She explores everything from quilting, embroidery, and shibori, to the use of heat guns and boiling water. She will bring in samples that worked and those that did not for an
artist’s show and tell.
