I create jewelry inspired by the colors, textures, and quiet beauty of the Oregon landscape. Each piece is handmade using the same ceramic techniques I apply to larger vessels. Soft celadon glazes and carefully layered colors allow subtle variations in design to emerge through the firing.
A distinctive element in my work is the iron-clad black sand I gather along the Oregon coast. Incorporated into every piece, it leaves its own unique marks and patterns, ensuring that no two are ever exactly alike.
My jewelry is meant to be worn and enjoyed while carrying with it a sense of place.
Each piece holds a small memory of Oregon, shaped by hand, fire, and the coast itself.
