Kazue Young
Kazue O Young is a professional Artist from Japan, based in Oregon.
She has been working with Traditional Japanese Textile Techniques, Katazome, Bingata, and Shibori since 2011.
All her Alberta Street Gallery artwork is the technique Bingata - a traditional art form of Okinawa, Japan, dating back to the 13th century. Historically, Bingata has been used to make Kimono.
The Most Unique thing about her Art is that she makes Original hand-cut Stencils. She then places the stencils on cloth, makes a resist using rice paste, and hand-paints each work using indigo dye and other natural pigments.
The Images in her art are inspired by Miracle Moments with nature.
All Kazue O Young’s art forms are different Traditional Japanese dye Techniques, and all her Artworks for sale are Original.
