Growing up on the outskirts of Bristol England, I was always drawn to the countryside with its woods and streams and sunlit meadows. Nature hooked me early on, and I have found throughout my life that my relationship with the natural world has always been there for me, resonating with something deep inside. And now, surrounded by the wildness and open skies of the Pacific Northwest, the relationship continues. Every time I venture out there is something new to see, to learn and be inspired by. Painting the indelible impressions left by my encounters with nature is something I find deeply satisfying, giving me a sense of creative completion.
