My business, Whimsical Wildlife Art & Books, has the mission to inspire children and adults, spark happiness, and awaken your vital connection to nature. I produce heartwarming imagery and creative projects for people of all ages, including painting commissions, prints, cards, coloring books, color-me-in canvases, and children’s picture books. My vision is to cultivate mindfulness, evoking an inner connection to your own vibrant spirit, to humanity, to the value of wildlife and to the system which connects us all, Mother Earth.
I'm from Alfred, Maine and attended Ringling College of Art & Design. Currently I am in Portland Oregon to connect with kindred spirits and follow my soul path. As I root into this community I am supported and inspired to connect to Love, Nature, Wildlife, Earth, The Universe, Source, my dreams and my soul calling. I love to dance, sing, ride my bike, practice yoga, meditate, explore the wilderness & paint!
I create mostly with watercolor or acrylic paints at Working Artists Studio on the edge of the Pearl District. I'm also a freelance illustrator and focus on children's books and mindfulness coloring books. Currently I am building my Etsy shop and show my artwork at the Alberta Street Gallery, the Elisabeth Jones Art Center and at select festivals. Previously I sold my artwork at the Portland Saturday Market for 2 years.
